Grapes + Za Branding

I designed the new brand identity for a pizza pop-up restaurant originally named Grapes. As the core name needed to remain, the identity introduces a modular naming system: Grapes + Za. The “+ Za” acts as both a playful reference to pizza and a flexible framework that can adapt to future cuisines (Grapes + ?). The design language draws from fun, informal Italian influences, using a felt-tip pen–style typeface to create a hand-drawn, energetic character. The identity was rolled out across menus, coasters, and a custom stamp for takeaway pizza boxes, ensuring a cohesive and expressive brand presence across all touchpoints.
